Experience

2008-Current:
Faculty Lead, Art Foundations, Interior Design, and Digital Photography, Art Institute of Michigan, Novi, MI.
Teach courses to undergraduates in professional degree programs and perform all administrative duties for those departments.  Courses taught include design fundamentals (2D), form and space (3D), Observational Drawing, Rapid Visualization, Architectural Drafting 1 & 2, Rendering, History of Design 1 & 2, and Interior Objects & Furniture.
2001-Current :
Sculptor/Designer, Inde Studio and Gallery, Novi, MI.
Proprietor of public art sculpture and decorative art metals studio.
2004 – 2008 :
Adjunct Faculty, Oakland Community College, Auburn Hills, MI.
Teach foundations and sculpture courses to undergraduates in art department.  Courses taught include basic drawing, sculpture welding and advanced sculpture welding.
2006 – 2007 :
Shop Technician, Oakland Community College, Auburn Hills, MI
Facilitate art students and faculty with all equipment and safety practices in woodshop,welding/fabrication shop, foundry, jewelry studio, ceramics/sculpture and stained glass studios.
2005:
Sculptor/Fabricator, Moran Iron Works, Onaway, MI.
Fabrication and welding at commercial  operation.  Responsible for fabrication of large-scale stainless steel sculpture installed at Cheboygan Memorial Hospital.  Trained in the operation of bridge cranes, hi-lo, ironworker, shear, press brake, and rigging, and certified in mig welding.
2004 – 2007:
Sculptor, Ray Katz, Pontiac, MI.
Assist established artist in fabrication and installation of large-scale public sculptures.
2003 – 2005 :
Woodshop Tech, Cranbrook Academy of Art, Bloomfield, MI.
Assist students with woodshop tool safety and practices.
2004:
Machinist, Berner Scientific, Pontiac, MI.
Trained in CNC milling, lathe-turning, and surface grinding of precision parts.
1999 – 2001:
Artist, James Starr Metalsmithing, Pontiac, MI.
Apprenticeship with established metal artist.  Trained in welding, fabrication, finishing, and lathe turning.  Responsible for all aspects of business, including proposals, bidding, materials procurement, shipping, project fabrication, installation, and customer relations.
